The
preamble of the constitution aptly defines what a democratic country is and it
sounds great when it is put in words but in reality it is not that fabulous. Anything
that is put in words sounds vibrant but not in pragmatism so as the case with
democratic, as the common definition of the Democratic Country goes: – It is By
the People, For the People and Of the People.

Juvenile being exempted from committed crime is ridiculous
The
arrest of 17-year-old in the outrageous sexual assault and slaughter of Delhi
victim, Nirbhaya in December 16, 2013 and 16-year-old in the heinous sexual assault
of Mumbai journalist in August 22, 2013 reveal the alarming rates of the involvement
of juveniles in heinous sexual assaults. In both the cases, the juvenile sexually
assaulted the girls atrociously but what was more shocking was that the Child Welfare
Society and Human Right Activists were up in arms demanding that they should
not be punished, being juveniles.

There always exists ceasefire between the so-called Political Arch Enemies
Irrespective
of the political ideologies the parties belong to, both ruling and opposition
parties are equally corrupt, therefore, there is always a leeway of ceasefire
between the political arch enemies on any political deadlock or impasse of
governance over any scam. The hostility between ruling and opposition parties on
political matters that we get to read in the newspapers and watch in television
channels is mere fiction.

Film stars - people with the least social commitments
Perhaps,
in no other profession people are so much so indebted to general public for
what one has become than in movie industry. One’s dramatic skills alone would
not make him a great artist, he becomes a great artist when his skills are
acknowledged, applauded and above all watched in theater. Film stars greatly
owe to their audience for what they have become but many a time they have least
commitment to the people and the society at large.
