God in His Supreme Creation
fashioned everything so we can't say something is bad and other is good. Scripture
says, so God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created
them; male and female He created them. Then, how come one gender's bodily
discharge alone is considered impure.
What is the criterion for
this test of purity? Both genders: woman
and man are
derived from the same species that is Homo sapiens. Homo sapiens, (Latin: “wise man”) means that the species to which all modern human beings belong. Therefore, all findings of modern human beings should be backed with empirical protocol.

According to modern
dictionary the difference between purity and impurity is that purity is the
state or degree of being pure while impurity is the condition of being impure;
because of contamination, pollution, adulteration or insufficient purification.
In South India we have
various communities observing the coming of age ceremony or rites of passage to
celebrate when a girl reaches puberty. Ritusuddhi, which is also known as Ritu
Kala Samskara, is the coming of age ceremony for girls, after the first
menstruation. This milestone in a girl's life is observed by her family and
friends, with gifts and her wearing a sari for the ritual. There is no coming
of age ceremony or rites of passage is celebrated when a boy reaches puberty,
which itself shows the significance given to woman and motherhood.
How can patriarchal society
and religion judge what is impure and what is pure. Why can't they understand
that menstrual bleeding is a natural phenomenon in woman in her call for
motherhood - without which human race would not have expanded.
Book of Leviticus from Old
Testament Chapter 15, Words from 01 to 33 speak about bodily discharges from
men and women. https://urlzs.com/bQuZa
For a certain religion
natural bodily discharge of man is not a sin whereas forced ejaculation is
considered as a sin that should be confessed.
If woman's bodily discharge
- menstrual bleeding is impurity, man's discharge - wet dream is more impure as
it is the end result of an erotic dream.
