Prior to major milestones in life like examination, final match, driving test or delivery, generally people wish their dear and near one with Best Wishes, Good Luck or Prayers to boost their morale so that they would achieve the target with ease.

But when it comes to such wishing Malayalis act very peculiar and that is deep there in their DNA. Instead of wishing Best Wishes, Good Luck or Prayers of the heart, typical Malayalis would say "Don't be tensed," and "Hope you are not scared."

I was terribly disappointed with the kind of service rendered by Christianweds matrimonial sites.

I am Sanil Augustine, have recently registered with Christianweds matrimonial site with a profile Id,CWEKM3365 after the continuous persuasion, compulsion and colourful promises offered by the Christianweds official, Mr. Biju from Thodupuzha office. Mr. Biju over and again asserting that the Unique Selling Point (USP) of Christianweds unlike other matrimonial site is the Christianweds plays a role of a mediator between guy’s and girl’s family to align a marriage proposal. Having been convinced with what Mr. Biju told me, I registered with Christianweds matrimonial site.

All the "Rights" leading children in the wrong direction??

To be a disciplined citizen could be everyone's right and to make them disciplined is the duty of their parents and teachers. But it seems that the laws of the land give so much loopholes for the children to escape from the punishments, which their parents and teachers impose on them for discipline in particular and for the society in general.

The irony with law is that the ones who need it the most never gets benefited from it, whereas the ones who should be punished by the same always escape it.

Culling stray dogs is a lesser evil compared to the agony humans have to undergo after being bitten by stray dog

In the wake of the series of dog bite incidents being reported in Kerala and innocent faces of the kids being tarnished as an aftermath of dog bites, we should remember that we live in a country, India, where capital punishment is in force and justifiable homicide is not a capital offence, then, why culling stray dog is the most debated topic of the time?

The Constitution of India provides Fundamental Rights under Chapter III, Article 21 guarantees Right to Protection of Life and personal liberty. According to Section 302, 303 under Indian Penal Code (IPC), a person is sentenced to death for committing murder. Why then a dog that is a threat to humans can’t be culled? Any individual, who is a threat as well as a nuisance to the life of human beings, is put behind bars, why then all these street dogs are let free?

Mr. CM, don’t make people wait for you indefinitely, our time is precious as well

People of Kerala watching you, learn to be punctual at least and learn to keep your promise. If you have forgotten, let me remind you the slogan of your government ‘Athi Vegam Bahu Dooram’ (With greater speed – long distance) - the speed with which Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, promises to deliver the goods and services.  But things are happening at snail's pace and many a time programms you promised to officiate are being cancelled at the last minute. You kept over 800 people of Kallichithra Colony - Naadaampaadam waiting for you. In preparation of your arrival, the precious time of the state police force, bomb squad, personnel of various departments and resources have been wasted, which could otherwise have been used for something productive and meaningful.

Really annoyed with the kind of service Focuz Biwheelers renders

I am well aware of the fact that writing this mail to you is absolutely of no use and completely waste of time for me. Hardly will it elicit any response from you. I can't but react, as I am an empowered citizen of this land, who reacts to what is odd and unethical. I can't tolerate when I learnt that I was being exploited. 

"The Church needs more number of Ex -Seminarians"

Perhaps, we would strongly disagree on this syllogism about why the Church needs more number of ex-seminarians. Whereas, our stand would be that the Church needs increased number of pious and dedicated priests. What do we have to do with these ex-seminarians and what good would come from them?

The syllogism "Church needs more number of ex-seminarians" is said in the context that it is a great force within the Catholic Church, which could be used for greater things and glory of the church, but still remains untapped force. The current ex-seminarian was once upon a fellow seminarian of the priest in the Church and most of them could be equally talented and smart as our priests perhaps even smarter and cleverer. Because all of them were inducted to seminary after strict security and examination.

We are "Technologically Sick"

When we boast about technological advancements and how they all have altered our life and put us all on a fast track mode, there is another side that how we are badly affected by the excess use of them. These technologies make us glued to them, and make us all addicted to them.

We all know that much debated topic about how much the rays from mobile towers are causing cancer, and though mobile tower companies refute the argument, there is a popular belief that they do cause cancer.

Who are the real encroachers of the land, humans or animals??

Whenever elephant or leopard intrude into human habitats we make a big news out of it, with the headline 'wild animal encroached human habitat' but who has actually encroached the land, the animals or we human beings?

If animals had their newspapers, what would have been the headline?  Elephant who visited the encroached land of his ancestors was terribly injured by human beings. The elephant was there just to quench its hunger, it had no intentions to attack any human being.
