SMS and Chatting spoil English language

IDTS!!, ILNY, its gr8, 2day, I cam bk 2 skool, I wntd 2 go hm ASAP, 2C my M8s again, I ws vvv brd in MON.

How many of us would have really understood what was written above, even if not completely, at least partially? Not many of us would have understood what is really meant by the above SMS language. The Short Message Service (SMS) keeps the communication so short with abbreviations and which keeps what is written incomprehensible for people who are not used to it. Now let us see what the SMS language really means.

I don’t think so, I love New York, it’s great, Today I came back to school, I wanted to go home as soon as possible, to see my mates again , I was extremely bored in the middle of nowhere,

How many of us could really understand what was written in the SMS language? We are so obsessed with these kinds of language while we are chatting with our friends and very seldom we use proper language for our daily communication so when we indulge in the official writing automatically the SMS and chatting language creep into because we so hooked up with these kinds of language.

With the advent of computers and laptops, hand writing has become a thing of the past. In the busy life we have only little time to communicate with people who are around us so we have made language short and crisp to keep communication sweet and effective. Excess use of this kind of abbreviated language makes us forget the formal and official language thus our language gets spoiled.

Perhaps in this modern time, the only time we write something on a sheet of paper would be for exams and interview tests. The hyper influence of the SMS and chatting would have spoiled our otherwise the good language. We become to what we are exposed to, similar way we are so used to the language in which most of our communications are happening thus SMS and chatting creep into our formal and official written communication.

However, there are a few ardent lovers of the language who never let the SMS and chatting language influence their language and get spoiled their formal language. These people keep the SMS and chatting language away so that their language shall remain spotless always.
