More than a game

The cricket match played between the two nations, India and Pakistan, has never been a mere sporting event; it is more than a game and its intensity is doubled when these countries meet together in World Cup semi-final seeking a berth for World Cup Final. Thus, winning over the other is always a matter of great pride and patriotism.

A big catch

The ten years long hunt for an enemy is annulled today; it was one of the longest operations in the world history which involved so much of strategic planning, wealth, so many military weapons and personnel. It is not just a victory of United States of America but of all the countries which has been waging war against terrorism.

All the Americans are haunted with September 11 attack on the World Trade Centre. World Trade Centre was one of the prestigious buildings in US of which all the Americans were proud of, but when in 2001 the World Trade Centre was reduced to ashes, killing 3000 people of 60 nations, Americans also learned that they were also rather they also could be the victims of terrorism.

Need to be logical even while lying

Even to lie and keep people believing in what is said, we need to be logical. We need to be logical even in lying. Lying is an art which has to be coupled with logical presentation of untrue facts and figures. The one who lies should have a good memory wherein he should remember what all things were told and to which all people.

Co-existence with nature

After creating everything God saw that everything is good and beautiful and at the end He created human beings in His own image and likeness and sent them out and told them go and enjoy. To go and enjoy does not mean that we have the right to exploit nature.

Finally, UPA government succumbs to opposition’s demand for Joint Parliamentary Committee. An unexplained enigma

Every beginning has to have an end. Once we are born we have to die giving space for others to live and that is the law of nature, but how, when and where death embraces us, no one knows it.  The fact is that no one wants to die; everyone wants to just live on. I think this is why we can’t have any control of our death. If we were to decide the time of our death, all of us would keep our life duration maximum prolonged as possible.

Child labor promoted stealthily

The irony is that people who speak against child labor themselves stealthily promote it. Child labors are always cheap labor available, at the end of the day children work as much as grown up but with less payment.

The educational institutions which speak about child labor themselves have employed children to work in their campus. Many a time the educated people who speak against child labor employ children in their own house because children remain cheap labors.

Collision of coalition government

Perhaps Coalition government is a very late happening in India, every since the independence of the country congress has been absolutely enjoying the power with great majority but with Rajeev Gandhi and Bofors sandal the single party power came to an end.

Divided for power

Have we ever paused for a moment and thought that why we have so many divisions? The whole world is divided into different countries in the geographical level, countries into states, division based on languages, so many religions and so many denominations within a religion, end number of political parties and the list of division goes on and on.  Conveniently we say it is all for the smooth function of the society and the world at large.

Winds of change……..

20 days-long agitation fetches its price and the clouds of dictatorship faded away and winds of change bring new ray of hope in the minds of Egyptians.  The end of 30-year dictatorship of President Hosni Mubarak is the victory of the people of Egypt. It was an unprecedented show of people’s power at Tahrir square in Cairo.  It was a national wide strike against Hosni Mubarak regime and it remains the biggest demonstration of people’s power.
