Challenge him not… provoke him not…

Basically everyone is good. Normally people end up doing something wrong or become anti-social when they are challenged and provoked. When someone is irritated, tarnished, subjugated to the core and pushed to the peripheries they would definitely bounce back and the fury of their anger might cause all possible damages which would remain incurable for a long period of time for both the parties.

Problem does not really exist

Most of our problems we think that we have don’t exist really and they exist only in our thought level. Most of our problems are not really out there as realities but they remain in our imagination and thought process rather they are the end results of our imagination and pondering over. The problem what I mean here is not any tangible problems like physical aliments, unemployment, financial insecurity but the problems that we cook up in our thoughts and imagination. 

Most of our problems are not tangible but they are very much intangible in nature. We consider and place these intangible problems something as tangible in front of us thus we become nervous, tensed, too much preoccupied and even get carried away with them.

Virtual Existence

The advent of technologies especially internet have challenged the very human relationships, the depth and warmth of a true relationship are lost. Everything is governed by technology and we are engulfed by technologies thus our very existence is challenged and we no longer  exist in the real world, rather we live in technology to be precise we live in a virtual world.

In this regard if the age-old story of scholar and boatman were to be retold to the younger generation, to reach the message home we need to fine-tune the story to the current era and perhaps it should be retold in the following format;

Let every one earn his or her daily bread through his or her own hard work than not by any easy ways outs and shortcuts. If I were as tiny as an ant

How wonderful it would have been to live as an ant, one of the smallest creatures, in this big world. Life of an ant is not always noticed by human beings yet happening. Though it is a miniature creature perhaps it would be the only creature which can carry an amount of weight which is double than its body weight. This small creature can truly upset the biggest creature on this planet, elephant.  

Why politicians won’t retire?

Perhaps for all other profession and service sector have a retirement period but absurdly not for politicians. Even Priests who are in service sector do retire at the age of 75 but not politicians. Politicians who have tasted what the real power is, the comforts and popularity that politics can offer, never want to retire. They wish to die as a great leader, like prime minister or chief minister or ministers only then their death will get immense publicity and can receive all state honors for their funeral.

Religion to impose morality

Ultimately, the purpose of any religion is to impose morality in the society. In a value decline society, who else would have taken up the responsibility of imposing morality among people? To this end all the religion works for.

What we need is more waste plants not airports

Kerala has been better known as God’s own country because of its biodiversity and geographic fabric and now the state is loosing its sheen due to its improper waste management system that it has. So now the state is being known as a stinging place and no more it is God’s own country. As far as the state is concerned, the pressing need of the state is not setting up new airports at Aranmula and Kannur but proper waste plants to dump the waste and keep Kerala a clean state.

Why such a deep Clergy-Laity division in the church??

God did not create a separate flock of clergy men and did not make them immediate decedents of God. It is from the so called lay men the clergy group is formed. No one is born as a clergy man, he is born as an ordinary man, his studies and special way of life has put him an elevated position as clergy and it is needless to hype that clergy men are superior and lay men are inferior. As clergymen are automatically in the ruling side they themselves make a distinction like clergy and lay people. It is just to strengthen their monopoly in the church.
