According to the guidelines given by
Election Commission of India, a candidate contesting for the Indian General
Election is not entitled to spend more than Rs. 70 lakhs for his election
campaign. But all of us are well aware of the amount of black money that is
pumped into election campaign and invariably every campaign crosses the limit.
