Will we be spared if we speak up the truth?

The irony with speaking truth is that the same people who teach us to speak the truth never expect us to speak any truth about them. The alarming rate of murder cases is because people involved in the crime do not want the truth to come in light. Even if people witness a particular murder case or theft they don’t go to police station to report it nor become an eye-witness in the court to stand up for truth.

Priesthood becoming a profession now

Gone are the days of selfless and relentless service and now everything has become money-making and profit-making entities. As a result everyone has stealthy omitted the word service from his or her life-dictionary.  

Now everything is a business and there is no service at all. Even the priesthood which formally was an absolute service is turned to be a mere profession. Many become priest because it is an easy going life when compared with hardships and difficulties involved in any other profession and way of life. There is no much hard work involved in this profession and actually they live at the expense of others. They are the people who always wish to have respect, attention, publicity, to be greeted, taken care of.

Sexual desire of a man

Is our birth the end result of the immaculate desire of God or the sexual desire of a man who is our biological father? Did our parents really want that we should be born in such and shape and we should be a boy or a girl? If the caused cause our birth is the absolute sexual desire of our biological father what is the role of God then? How are we born on this planet of earth and what caused our ontology? 

Guest lecturers are not slaves

This was the question that I have been asking myself when I was working as a guest lecturer in a college and in my experience and observation, the way the guest lecturers are being treated is not fair at all. Self respect and personal integrity of a guest lecturer are always at stake and challenged. The life of guest lecturer is torn asunder and it is crippled by injustice, inhuman treatment and unjust wage.

In terms of education qualifications and exposure guest lecturers are way ahead than the so called permanent ones who are in their late 40s and early 50s. Why then such a bad treatment to guest lecturers? It is a story of haves and have-nots.

A nice person at heart

The picture we all have about auto walla is not very pleasing, and today I could meet an auto walla who is very different from the entire flock.  Today, as I was trying to get back to Panampilly Nagar from Business standard office, I asked an auto walla that that how much he would charge me to reach Panampilly Nagar he told me give me what I owe him to reach Panampilly Nagar that was his immediate response. With an excitement I just jumped into the auto.

Be in another's shoes

There is an English phrase as “Be in another’s shoes” which means occupy other’s position; feel exactly as others do; understand things in his or her perspective. But the dilemma is that to what extent being in another’s shoes is possible. Though we have such a phrase in English language we can use it for the heck of using it but truly being in another’s shoes is not possible. 

People’s revolution

Recent years have witnessed unprecedented revolutions by people for the ouster of monarch and coup. The strength of the people is shown once again. The winds of people’s revolution that started off from Tunisia has been spreading to Egypt, Yemen, Libya and India.  No ruler can withstand the agitation of the people and at the end they have to yield to the unity and strength of the people and this is the lesson that the people’s revolution giving to the entire world.

Nothing is good or bad in itself

We always label and categorize things as good or bad but in actuality there is nothing  good or bad in itself. Either we can say everything is good or everything is bad, not like certain things are good and the others are bad. As a thing has got multipurpose and multiuse meticulous labeling of the thing as good or bad is of great difficulty.

It is our use, over use, how we use and for what purpose we use make things good or bad. The same thing can be used constructively and destructively so how can we label as it is good or bad so what makes a thing good or bad is, for the what purpose it has been used and what result it has elicited. 

Men are adorned in modest apparels not women..........

As far as the dress codes of men and ladies are concerned, men follow the dress code not ladies. Men do wear decent dress and make good attire whereas ladies wear vulgar dress and try to woo the men.  The debate is how a man and lady ought to dress up. Both the parties ought to dress up the way the anatomy of their body expects from them.    

Men get stimulated by the sight of a lady. Men are always inclined to a lady, bodily, before they move into an emotional relationship. Without a bodily attraction men cant think of getting connected to a lady emotionally. On the other hand, women are stimulated by touch. It could be a bodily or an emotional touch. A man could talk to a woman in such a way that she is touched emotionally or could be by a bodily touch.
