If not now never…

Its 10th Cricket World Cup coming down to Asian subcontinent, 28 years of long drought and Sachin playing his final World Cup. The expectations are touching the sky and the cricket fever has engulfed everyone. It is cricket carnival happening in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and the focus of the whole world is here for the coming 52 days.
By all means it is the golden chance for team India to annul its 28 years long drought ever since Kapil’s devils lifted the cup in 1983. Since last one year team India has shown tremendous form under its cool captain Dhoni, team India was molding itself for the great match. It has shown resilience as well as attacking cricket; for instances the way the team won the one day series against News land at home and the way it fought and leveled the test matches against South Africa in their soil.

With this great homework team India is going for 2011 World Cup. Team India stands out among the other 13 playing teams in the World Cup. All cricket pundits have reaffirmed the chance of India getting the World Cup this time.

Team India is fortunate to have highly gifted players in the squad. We have two great openers in the form of Sehwag and Sachin. Once Shewag gets his momentum his is unstoppable. Sachin is such an experienced player, playing his 6th World Cup and he has been in tremendous form especially in the World Cups. It’s always said that his mere presence in the team is a big boost for all other players.

Team India has such a powerful batting line up which no other team can boast about and spinners can make wonders in these pitches and the experienced Zaheer Khan’s pace attack makes the blowing also strong.  So the squad is the blend of both experienced and fully charged youngsters, so it’s time to watch them out.

If not now never team India is going to get such a golden chance to lift the World Cup because we have such talented players in the squad as well as the circumstance is so conducive. As Sachin is playing his final World Cup, winning the World Cup for his country would be the greatest gift he can give to his countrymen.

The expectations are too high and it is time for team India to live up to the expectations of the people who are madly after cricket. The countdown is begun and it is time for action. Chak de India……………………..
